The biggest reason why I don't subscribe to network television

It's because of ads, ads, and more ads. When I watch a TV show on cable, satellite, or apps Pluto TV, it contains excessive ads that ruin the immersion into the movie or show. It seems like everytime I start getting into it, a commercial comes on loud as heck, disrupting the viewing experience.

Gems of War: road to level 1000 guide

This guide is you get you to level 1000. Things really start getting fun at this level, but can take six months to a year to reach this level. You may think this would be difficult, but time flies when you're having fun. There are so many fun things to do, not to mention weekly events, you'll be there in no time. I've managed to make to level 1000 on Xbox One and on Android.

There is so much detail to this game, and it is updated so frequently, that it is not viable for me to write a complete guide on how to play the game. Rather, this is a guide to make your progress more time efficient, and make you a powerful player in the shortest amount of time possible.

How to add a separate homepage to a Blogspot template

In this tutorial, we will be using my Blogspot Boilerplate template as the example. In a nutshell, for those that know what they are doing and don't want to read the whole article:

Why I think humans are more like herbivores, than carnivores or omnivores

To be upfront, I am not a vegetarian. Although I did try a vegan diet more than once and fell off of it after a few weeks. Most of the information that I have on the matter comes from medical doctor Milton R. Mills, who some have claimed to debunk, but I've read most of the debunking material and find their debunking claims insufficient. You can read his original paper here.

Let's start by comparing traits of the average mammalian carnivore, omnivore, herbivore, to each other and then see which one humans relate to the most.

A free photo copyright release certificate template for your clients

As a photographer, I've always given complete rights to my clients. However, photo printing shops often do not let my clients print photos I took without some kind of copyright release form. So I tried to take a more professional step and wanted to provide a photo copyright release certificate with every order. So I created one...

A free Blogspot boilerplate template for theme designers

I designed free Google Blogger Blogspot template named "Boilerplate". It has minimal code, and is practically bare bones. Blogspot theme designers can use it to build their own theme from. The biggest thing about this template is that the comments inherit the blog post/page styling, which is something that current designers have struggled with doing. It also features body class names for the different areas of the website. It is free to use, commercially or privately, and royalty free. All I ask in return is a link back to this post. Sharing is caring...

Commerical: you need a boyfriend!

I found this video on YouTube years ago and it still cracks me up to watch it. The video was created by TotallySketch, a channel that does comedy. Be sure to check it out. Anyway, here is the Commerical.

Thunderstruck: by 2Cellos

Here is a ACDC Thunderstruck cover by 2Cellos. I found the video very entertaining, with the musicians getting out of control during the classical music era. You can witness the children being told to stop dancing to the music, because it is out of the ordinary. You can see more on their YouTube channel. Check it out...

Crystallize: By Lindsey Stirling

I like the sound of the violin, and I also like dubstep. I was amazed when I heard this original dubstep song by violin artist Lindsey Stirling. You can view her YouTube channel. The name of the song is Crystallize, but I think it should have been named Mesmorize. She has a few dubstep mashups, but this one is my favorite. Check it out...

How to create a different password for all your sites using an easy to remember algorithm.

Beef up your password security by creating a different password for each web site your application you use..., and be able to remember it. I know it sounds impossible, but it is actually quite simple. This will help protect you if one of your passwords are compromised, all of your others will still be secure.

I will explain and walk you through the process with an example. First we create a core password, then we will customize the core password for each web site or application using a custom formula. This formula can be whatever you want. We will call this a tailored password. Our tailored password for each web site or application will be easy to remember, as long as you remember the formula in which you use to create it.

A collection of 100 funny source code comments

Here are some funny source code comments found across the net that come from in various software and web-based applications, and I thought I would share them with you.

Why I've gone Google..., again!

I say again because I tried to switch to Apple, free & open source, then Microsoft, and now I've come back to Google. It has everything I need and want.

Google has the largest and most comprehensive ecosystem of all software/hardware businesses. Being a part of a solid ecosystem ensures better compatibility and intergration between apps. Not to mention a linear payment & purchase history. While Google isn't perfect, it provides the best overall value and convenience.

How to make Filipino-American style Bistek

I am an American who has been married to a Filipina for over twelve years. One of my favorite filipino dishes that I love to cook is Filipino Bistek. Which is similar to Chinese Pepper Steak. However, this is my Americanized version that I have adapted because of local ingredients available to me, and what I think will better fit my taste.
